Introverts vs Extroverts

We all have different personality types which are not limited or restricted to being an introvert or an extrovert.

But just to make it simple to understand, let's broadly curb it to down to these two personalities.

While growing up also, I would be mostly happy being myself. Introverts are definately not anti-social. I feel they are just not social enough and they are happy that way.

Knowing myself very well, let me try and burst a few myths about introverts.

1) They are unfriendly and like I said earlier anti social. I can certainly vouch for the fact that they are neither. They prefer time alone but that does not make them unfriendly at all.

2) It's difficult to get to know them. That is truly not the case, but introverts prefer not to open themselves with all who prefer to small talk. They have meaningful deeper friendships and connections with a handful of people who know them quite well.

3) When one thinks of a leader , who would you imagine ? That's right ..an extrovert but that's a myth that introverts can't be leaders. Infact their ability to listen, understand and empathise makes them truly good leaders.

What what you really can't expect out of them is daily, weekly or even sometimes monthly connects or phonecalls.

Few differences between these two personalities are as follows;
Pl note that all differences may not apply to one kind of personality completely and may not always be true.

Ofcourse there is ambivert also who has the characteristics of both introvert and an extrovert. They are  quite comfortable in social gatherings as well as enjoy some alone time too.

The thought behind bringing this up is to accept oneself  completely  and wholeheartedly the way you are. And secondly to genuinely accept your family, friends as well as other people the way they are.

 Because imagine if we are all xeroxed copies of each other, it would be soo montonous and repetitive.

 Going to end with my all time favourite quote

"You are imperfect, permanently and inevitably flawed. And you are beautiful."
